Strangest thing you ate...
We fire a quick 5 at our fearless founder, Kelly Davies-Green on her recent trip through Japan. The weird and wonderful awaits.
Natto !
One thing you learnt about yourself?
I'm really patient these days.. nothing much ruffles my feathers. I suppose these past few years have brought an inner peace that I didn't fully recognise until I found myself in the hotttt, bustling energy of Japan with three kids and my husband.
Your new favourite Japanese word / saying ...
"Kaizen" - Jez and I often use this phrase when we're talking about life, parenting teens, and business. It means improving yourself by taking small, incremental, daily actions that form lasting habits and ultimately lead to a better way of living.
The memory you will keep forever...
Aww, that's easy. It's been a month since our travels, and this moment still sits deeply in my heart, a memory burn, for sure. We visited an art gallery, and the exhibition was called Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers. Tavi and I laid beneath this incredible view with the music playing. Tavi reached out and held my hand, and we just laid there for what felt like ages. Time seemed to stop as we watched the flowers grow, bud, bloom, and eventually the petals fall and the flowers wither and die. I cried because of the beauty, the circle of life, birth and death unfolding before us. It was such a poignant reminder to cherish every moment. The universe truly is magic!
